Welcome to Inspirimo

We know that feeling: staring at a blank page, holding back because it might not come out right. Overthinking the plan. Redoing the first step before you’ve even taken it. Needing to know it’ll be good before you allow yourself to start.

That’s the whole exercise. Not “make peace with imperfection” as an idea, but feel it, page after page: it wasn’t perfect, and nothing bad happened. The world kept going. You’re one step further than you were before you started.

That’s perfectionism — and it rarely stays in one place. It shows up in how we work, decide, create, plan a trip, write an email we rewrite five times. It can quietly run a lot of a life.

Drawing is just one way in. The real practice is letting “good enough” be enough — everywhere else in life it needs to be.

Inspirimo started as our own way through it. We needed a way to practise letting go of control somewhere low-stakes enough to actually try it. Drawing turned out to be that place.

Inspirimo Slowbooks are printable creative exercises for anyone who’s tired of not starting because it might not be right. No perfect line. No perfect colours. No perfect picture. Just proof, page by page, that done is better than perfect.

Our Slowbooks are built so a perfect result is basically impossible. You draw and colour with both hands at once, following symmetrical shapes — your two hands won’t move the same way, your colours won’t land where you planned. Crooked lines. Mismatched shades. Not what you pictured.

And yet — it looks okay. More than okay, actually. Intriguing, even. And it’s finished.

MAKE SPACE FOR IMPERFECTION

Start anyway
Skip the plan
Just begin
Draw with
both hands
Hands won’t match
That’s the point

Not perfect.
Still good. Still yours
